  • Salary: £24,020 - £28,259 determined by a competency-based framework
About the role

As an Administrative Assistant, you’ll provide a range of administrative support to the Customer Operations East Midlands team and contribute to the achievement of departmental and business objectives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Maintaining, reporting, and coordinating technical and financial records, including providing relevant KPI reports to management.
  2. Operating and administering key data systems across various business activities.
  3. Managing incoming communications such as phone calls, mail, and correspondence.
  4. Coordinating team diaries and schedules, ensuring clear communication of itineraries.
  5. Organising meetings, briefings, and events, including minute-taking and distribution.
  6. Processing requests, orders, invoices promptly, adhering to procedural and audit requirements.
  7. Supporting team activities to enhance business performance.
  8. Managing internal and external perceptions of functions/partners, maintaining confidentiality where appropriate.
About you

We’re seeking candidates with:

  • Good understanding of the organisation, business issues, and processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience liaising with senior staff internally and externally.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A basic understanding of business acumen and GDPR.
  • Strong planning, organisational, and customer service experience.
