Overview

As a result of consistent year-on-year increases in international applications and enrolments at the University, the International Centre is seeking to appoint an International Admissions Administrative Assistant on a fixed term maternity cover contract until 1st November 2026 to join the department's International Admissions Team.

The post offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant contribution to the successful recruitment of international students to the University. By contributing to all aspects of the admissions process up to and including enrolment, including responding to international enquiries and supporting the processing of new applications, as well as general administrative duties, the successful post holder will form a key part of the overall admissions function.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to international enquiries and support the processing of new applications up to enrolment, including general administrative duties.
  • Contribute to all aspects of the admissions process up to and including enrolment.
Qualifications
  • Educated to A Level standard or equivalent and possess excellent IT skills.
  • Experience within an administrative role with a high level of written and oral communication skills.
  • Well organised, self-motivated, with attention to detail, and able to work effectively as a competent team member.
