Overview

Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Manager — London (Hybrid: 3 days in the office / 2 days from home)

Salary up to £55,000 + benefits. Permanent role. Reference BBBH40.

What you'll be doing
  • Running the Accounts Payable function — invoices, payments, supplier queries.
  • Overseeing Accounts Receivable & Credit Control — chasing overdue invoices and ensuring cash is collected.
  • Coaching, supporting, and developing two direct reports.
  • Monitoring aged debt, creditor reports, and cashflow.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to make the function more efficient.
  • Building strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
What we're looking for
  • Solid experience in both AP and AR/Credit Control with a demonstrated ability to balance cashflow.
  • Previous people management experience (or readiness to lead a small team).
  • Confident communicator who can build relationships and influence at all levels.
  • Retail or consumer sector experience is a bonus but not required.
  • Organised, proactive, and focused on process improvement.
