Accounts Assistant | Leatherhead, Surrey | Full Time | Office Based | £26,000-£28,000 DOE

Our client, a successful SME, has been a trusted supplier to the golf trade since 1980 and is now the leading global distributor of branded and licensed products to the trade. They are a small, close-knit company spread across two locations - Leatherhead, Surrey and Oldbury, near Birmingham.

This role is based in a small open plan office in Leatherhead, which is part of Regus serviced offices. It's an intimate, collaborative working environment where fitting in with the team and thriving in a small-office setting is just as important as the skills and experience you bring.

They are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you\'ll provide financial and administrative support, helping to keep the accounts function running smoothly.

  • Preparing invoices for customers and processing incoming supplier invoices
  • Tracking and managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Reconciling company bank accounts and supplier statements
  • Processing employee expenses and reimbursements
  • Recording financial transactions accurately in accounting systems
  • Supporting credit control and following up on outstanding payments
  • Providing administrative support to the finance department
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers on payments and financial queries
