Fall Protection Engineer / Access & Safety Operative

Location: Field Based - Chelmsford

Salary: Competitive, based on experience + Company Van

Flexibility is key – this role may involve night work, weekends, and overnight stays when required.

PTSG Access & Safety provides equipment and services that enable engineers to safely access building areas for specialist work, including testing and certification of roof anchor points and servicing of BMUs. We are part of Premier Technical Services Group Ltd, the UK’s leading provider of specialist services.

About the organisation

The Group has five independent business divisions encompassing façade access and fall arrest equipment services, lightning protection and electrical compliance testing, high-level services, fire and security solutions and water treatment and hygiene services.

What the role involves
  • Installing, testing and maintaining systems like lifelines, fixed ladders, eyebolts and guardrails
  • Ensuring every system meets strict compliance standards and is safe to use
  • Travelling across the UK with the flexibility for occasional overnight stays
You’ll need
  • Previous experience working at height or in a safety-related role
  • Confidence with tools and working on-site
  • A full UK driving licence
