Full Time: 35hrs per week

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Business Support and Finance Administrator to provide administrative support for the School of Biological Sciences business activities. This post involves hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working. Supporting the School’s business activities, the post holder will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a consistent approach to the provision of efficient and effective customer service, with particular focus on financial reporting and reconciliation.

Your skills and attributes for success
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Microsoft Excel skills must be demonstrably above basic levels (e.g. familiarity with pivot tables)
  • Proactive approach to seeking out information and to solving problems
  • Experience of analysing and reconciling financial reports
  • Demonstrable high level of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail
