Job summary

An educational service provider in Burnley is seeking a dedicated tutor to support vulnerable and disengaged students. In this role, you will create and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to improve student engagement and attainment. Ideal candidates will have QTS or equivalent, a passion for education, and experience working with SEND pupils. This part-time position offers flexibility in working hours at a rate of £25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils.
• Possess UK classroom teaching experience preferred but not essential.
• Be creative, patient, and willing to think outside of the box.

Responsibilities

• Create, plan, and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons.
• Boost engagement and attainment levels of students.
• Provide academic support to students in one-on-one or small-group settings.
