Our client, a global leader in professional audio solutions, is seeking an experienced technical services leader to take up this important strategic leadership role of Director of Application Operations – EMEA, managing the region’s technical delivery and client services function and team. This role is crucial to the continued growth and performance of our client’s already well-established Applications Engineering function across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

As Director of Application Operations for EMEA, you will oversee a regional team of senior technical leads who are responsible for design, commissioning, support, and technical delivery across multiple countries. You’ll play a key role in shaping the structure and performance of the collective EMEA team, providing both strategic guidance and hands-on leadership where needed. You will work closely with other regional directors and cross-functional teams to ensure technical excellence, customer satisfaction, and consistent commercial alignment within the company.

Your background in professional audio, systems integration, or adjacent sectors will position you to understand both the technical and commercial context of the business, as well as being able to fully understand the technical services which you will be leading. You will bring a strong understanding of operational planning, resource management, and solution delivery at scale, while maintaining a positive, forward-thinking leadership style that will help develop high-performing, motivated teams.

Additionally, in this role you will also represent the company externally, engaging directly with key clients and partners on technical and strategic matters, and contributing to broader business relationships across the region. Participation in industry events, forums, and conferences will also be part of the role, helping you strengthen both your personal network and the company’s presence in the market.
