Business Development Manager - IT Services (New Era Technology Portfolio)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our New Era Technology portfolio. This role involves managing existing customer relationships and opening new logos to expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT services and a proven track record in remote sales.

Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Manage and grow existing customer accounts by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • New Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities (new logos) within the telecommunications and system integration sectors.
  • Portfolio Sales: Lead the sales efforts for our New Era Technology portfolio, focusing on carriers and system integrators.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in both existing and potential client organizations.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline effectively, ensuring accurate forecasting and consistent growth.
  • Proposal Development: Create compelling proposals and presentations that highlight the unique benefits of our New Era Technology portfolio.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and technical support, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on sales performance against KPIs and targets.
  • Industry Presence: Represent the company at industry events and conferences to network and identify new business opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Experience: Proven experience (7+ years) in business development or sales within the IT services industry, with a focus on telecommunications and system integration.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Able to discuss with either top management and operation teams.
  • Mindset: Strategic thinker with a proactive approach and a strong drive for results.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of IT services and solutions, including, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
  • Language: Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in French is a strong asset.
  • Remote Work: Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, with occasional travel as needed.
