For a few years, GEODIS has initiated a wide transformation project of its Finance Function called Odyssey Finance. This program embeds the design of a Core Model encompassing performance management framework, overall finance processes, and tools supported by better shared master data management.
In this context, GEODIS is launching an ERP Finance & P2P initiative to implement the Core Model process in a robust solution that will be progressively deployed across a worldwide scope of entities over the next few years.
To reinforce the team and meet these requirements, we are recruiting a P2P Project Manager.
She/He will be part of the ERP Finance & P2P Indirect program and manage the P2P component based on the Coupa solution.
She/He will report to the ERP & P2P Program Director.
Main responsibilities for the position:
For the Coupa P2P program:
• Project organization and team coordination:
• Propose and establish an efficient IT organization to manage the P2P project. Coordinate the P2P project team members (including employees, integrators, and partners);
• Seek ways to increase the project team's effectiveness;
• Proactively communicate resource needs and maintain the model throughout the project lifecycle.
• Project Framework:
• Lead or oversee all facets of this large international project;
• Deliver the P2P project following established PMO ERP / P2P program standards and guidelines;
• Develop and maintain a work plan to ensure the delivery of all milestones and work products within the scheduled start and end dates;
• Track and deliver all project deliverables on schedule with the support of the integrator;
• Maintain deliverable and work product quality;
• Prepare and organize the switch to Run mode;
• Communication:
• Track and effectively communicate project status up and down the communication chain;
• Execute effective IT P2P project communications;
• Risks & Escalation Management:
• Establish and maintain an effective Issue and Risk Management plan;
• Serve as the initial escalation point for P2P project issues, risks, and changes;
• Facilitate conflict resolution within the team and escalate when necessary.
• Budget Management:
• Consolidate and track P2P project IT costs;
• Develop and maintain an accurate budget overview.
Proven Successful Experience:
The successful applicant will be a Project Manager with:
• Proven experience in managing procurement projects;
• Procurement business process integration experience;
• Experience working on a global scale for large IT services or outsourcing companies, with strong client-facing skills;
• Experience initiating, planning, executing, monitoring & controlling, and closing software implementation projects;
• Management of integrator contracts (solution challenges, delivery validation, budget, and scope monitoring).
Skills & Qualifications:
• Graduated from an Engineering school or equivalent in Computer Science (BAC+5);
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience;
• Ability to implement practical business solutions under strict deadlines;
• Strong team player with a high-performance mindset;
• Commitment to meeting internal client needs and delivering excellent service;
• Understanding of matrix organizational structures;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Strong presentation skills;
