Overview

As a key member of the Core Sensing Devices team you will be responsible for the modeling design optimization and characterization of pixels / photodiodes and development of new image sensing technology. You will be at the center of efforts to develop new image sensing technology and you will engage with cross-functional teams working on many aspects of system, module, circuit and device development.

  • Modeling, design optimization and characterization of pixels / photodiodes and development of new image sensing technology.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across system, module, circuit and device development.
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • At the end of the internship you must return to school to continue your education or the internship must be the last requirement for you to graduate.
  • English language fluency (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in modeling and data analysis tools (e.g. Python, MATLAB, etc.).
  • Programming skills to develop or adapt software / firmware for characterization purposes.
  • Experience in model-based design with advanced math skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Background in solid-state electronic devices with solid understanding of device physics.
  • Experience in electro-optical characterization of imaging solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in optical device simulation (TCAD). Basic knowledge of process development (CMOS).
  • Ideal candidates are familiar with image sensor technology, image sensor performance metrics, image sensor usage and integration into camera systems.
