Location

Valenciennes

Purpose of the job

Located on Valenciennes in the north of France; you will join one of the biggest Train Development sites, working on Double Deck trains and Metros, with more than 1,700 employees.

Organization and reporting

You will be reporting to the Procurement Director.

Interface & network

Global Commodity Team / Project Managers / Engineering Team.

Responsibilities

• Organize cost‑reduction workshops with all internal stakeholders (engineering, central & local procurement team) & follow the progress.
• Challenge Platform requirements where and when relevant.
• Monitor the tender cost budget on a monthly basis, identify risks and mitigation plans.
• Respect the defined tender saving target.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications

• MASTER / MBA in Business, Purchasing/Sourcing or equivalent.

Experience

Mandatory

• Industrial or Project background.
• Sourcing, Finance, or Project background.
• Fluent in English & French.
