Job Description

Our industrial site Gerresheimer in Chalon-sur-Saône is looking for a Supply Chain Manager (M/F) for its site specialized in the manufacturing of glass bottles. The main activities are:

  • Ensure delivery of orders on time, in compliance with internal/external customer requirements and client/group audits
  • Manage customer relations for order management: communication of expected delivery dates, confirmation of receipt, administrative follow-up
  • Implement, monitor and optimize S&OP, MPS, scheduling and planning tools to manage capacity based on forecasts
  • Plan and adjust the plant's capacity long-term, taking into account orders, forecasts, historical data, technical constraints (in liaison with the Technical Department) and supply constraints
  • Manage and readjust the production schedule according to contingencies and priorities.
  • Transmit the necessary information for the preparation of production files
  • Define raw material requirements and ensure purchases in compliance with the established autonomy budget
  • Plan short-term production and monitor variances between planning and actual output
  • Check stock levels (particularly glass) and coordinate sorting actions with the quality department and clean room, in accordance with group objectives
  • Coordinate relations with suppliers and negotiate terms (raw materials, packaging, transportation, storage, etc.) to optimize costs while respecting the budget
  • Manage the evolution of Supply Chain software (SAP) and ensure the reliability of IT systems
  • Manage exchanges with the group: sales tracking, projections, division Supply Chain meetings, reporting and presentation of KPIs
  • Lead and deploy the site's customer excellence projects
Qualifications
  • Hold a higher education degree (Bachelor's+4/5) in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Management or equivalent
  • Demonstrate significant experience (minimum 5 years) in Supply Chain management in an industrial environment
  • Master planning tools (S&OP, MPS, scheduling, etc.) and have good knowledge of ERP/Supply Chain software systems
  • Possess solid skills in negotiation and supplier/customer relationship management
  • Demonstrate ability to lead cross-functional projects and work in interface with multiple departments
  • Show adaptability, rigor and strong results orientation
  • Professional English skills, both oral and written
