A leading engineering staffing provider is seeking a Structural Engineer with expertise in offshore subsea projects. The successful candidate will perform structural engineering design and analysis, utilizing FEA software ABAQUS and ideally SACS. Strong communication skills in English are mandatory, and proficiency in French is a plus. The role requires on-site presence at least 3 days a week, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Structural Engineer in offshore subsea projects within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Strong knowledge of structural design principles and calculation methods.
• Ability to propose innovative solutions to project leads.

About the Role

We are seeking a Structural Engineering Services with strong expertise in offshore subsea projects. The role involves working autonomously under the project lead, collaborating closely with other disciplines, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural engineering design and analysis for subsea components (FLET, Manifold, Suction Pile, large mudmat, etc.).
• Utilize FEA software ABAQUS (2D shell and 3D volumetric) and ideally Beam software SACS for structural calculations.
• Conduct hand calculations and propose innovative solutions to project leads.
• Review drawings, coordinate with draftsmen, and ensure accuracy of data provided during advanced phases.
• Participate in design reviews and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Proven experience as a Structural Engineer in offshore subsea projects within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Proficiency in ABAQUS (2D shell and 3D volumetric) and ideally SACS.
• Strong knowledge of structural design principles and calculation methods.
• Ability to work independently and propose technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in English (mandatory); French is a plus.
