For our Software department in Toulouse (France) we are looking for local talent.

The Role:

  • Work with a team of software professionals on software applications that control various electronic systems in vehicles.
  • Drive validation of high Quality, high performance and production ready software.
  • Ensure quality from low level software to end applications.
  • Validate software in simulation, on benches and on vehicle
  • Test and release in alignment with QA & vehicle integration, ensuring quality at the vehicle level.
  • Design, maintain and execute automated tests, including functional, system integration, performance, regression and API testing.
  • Support and coordinate between QA engineers and the development teams to ensure growing test coverage.
  • Assess, troubleshoot and debug working closely with software applications developers throughout the software development life cycle.

Requirements:

  • Master degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of recent experience working as QA Engineer on embedded systems.
  • Experience working in Automotive - Infotainment
  • Working knowledge on Android and/or Linux
  • Proven ability to develop and automate robust, efficient, high-quality Tests.
  • Programming skills with python, scripting and relevant environment for test automation
  • Experience working in an agile environments.
  • Test/Automation and UI validation tools experience
  • Familiar with Git, Jira, and software development lifecycle.
  • Hardware knowledge would be very appreciated
  • Excellent documentation and organization skills
  • Good communication, able to convey both detailed explanations and high-level status updates and know when each is appropriate.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work within a team environment.
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
