The Solutions Engineer bridges the gap between product development and the sales team, using their specialized knowledge of the products’ parts, functions and processes and assisting to close sales where technical expertise may be required to fit the clients’ needs.
Your Role at Orange Logic
Your Role at Orange Logic :
- Preparing and developing technical presentations to explain our company's products or services to customers.
- Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and others in a position to understand service requirements.
- Provides expertise and support to sales teams to communicate products, services, and client needs.
- Researching, developing and modifying products to meet customers' technical requirements and needs. Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements.
- Helping customers who have problems with installed products and recommending improvements.
- Training other members of the sales team on the technical aspects of the company's products and services.
- Prepares cost estimates by studying all related customer documents, consulting with engineers, architects, and other professional personnel.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
Ideal Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, business administration, or related field.
- Related product or sales experience.
- Prior experience working in small, entrepreneurial companies.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interpret and convey highly technical software concepts in an easy-to-understand way.
- Ability to collaborate to develop a selling strategy that appeals to the client well.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented sales approach.
- Proficient with G-Suite or related software.
