Description du poste

The Senior Sourcing Manager job purpose is:

Lead a team of Regional Commodity Leaders, Procurement Specialists, Supplier Quality Engineers, and Supplier Quality Inspectors for product commodities.

Optimize, communicate, deploy, and implement a competitive commodity sourcing strategy for the region.

Purchase materials, products, and services for Hydro projects in accordance with QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) requirements.

Improve expertise within team members.

Monitor and improve supplier and sourcing performance in operations, focusing on total cost of ownership, delivery, quality, service level, and innovation.

Assess supplier performance in coordination with Procurement.

Collaborate with Project Supply Chain Managers (PSCMs) and Global Commodity Leaders.

Participate in operational tasks as part of the commodity team.

Responsibilities

1. Manage the Regional Commodity Leaders, Procurement Specialists, Supplier Quality Engineers, and Supplier Quality Inspectors team.
2. Contribute to defining the regional sourcing strategy.
3. Provide regional inputs and needs.
4. Participate in strategy definition under the guidance of the Global Commodity Manager.
5. Source the best suppliers and develop supplier panels within the region with support from Quality Assurance.
6. Negotiate T&C (Terms & Conditions), price lists, and establish Long-Term Frame Agreements or open purchase orders, including supplier review management.
7. Drive stakeholder engagement in the region for supplier improvement and development.
8. Prepare forecasts and backlog for the commodity.
9. Support tendering and product development activities, including updating price lists, costing tools, TBOMs, vendor list issuance, and issuing RFQs when necessary.
10. Support risk and opportunity reviews.
