Overview

Match Group is a leading provider of dating products across the globe. Our portfolio includes Tinder, Hinge, Match-Meetic, PlentyOfFish, Okcupid, The League, Archer, Salams and others, each designed to spark meaningful connections for singles worldwide. The role supports the Payroll & Personnel Administration Manager for Europe within a French and European scope (7 countries), managing payroll for 300 employees across Meetic, Match, Tinder, Hinge, and other Match Group entities in Europe. The position is based in Paris, requires no travel, and allows up to 2 days of remote work per week.

Role responsibilities
  • Perform semi-outsourced payroll process: collect, enter, and verify all variable payroll elements (absences, overtime, bonuses, on-call duties, etc.).
  • Manage HR administration for Europe and act as a backup for French administration.
  • Handle end-to-end administrative processes for employee lifecycle events, including personalized onboarding for new joiners.
  • Build trust and maintain regular communication with employees to ensure clarity.
Location & working arrangement

Office: 53 rue de Châteaudun, 75009 Paris. The role is based in Paris with no required travel and up to 2 days of remote work per week.

Must-Have
  • Bringing a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in French payroll.
  • Professional proficiency in both written and spoken English.
  • Highly adaptable with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proven ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and plan tasks.
Nice-to-Have
  • Experience managing equity plans.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration.
  • Knowledge of Workday.
  • Familiarity with SOX audit requirements.
  • Experience in European or international payroll management.
Team and culture
  • We’re an HR team of 11 people based in Paris, with the Payroll sub-team consisting of 2 dedicated members.
Interview process
  • A first 30-45 minute Zoom conversation with a Talent Acquisition team member.
  • A 60-minute on-site meeting with Sophie (Senior Payroll Officer) and Catherine Guéné (Sr Manager, Payroll & Personnel Administrative).
  • A 60-minute on-site or Zoom interview with Mickael Moyen Pedone (Senior Director People) and Karine Chommeloux (VP People EMEA).
