Job Description

We are seeking a Specialist to join our dynamic and highly motivated team, operating in a challenging yet rewarding environment. The ideal candidate will be an integral part of our global team, engaging directly with internal clients and occasionally with external clients. We expect applicants to bring creativity, innovation, and a strong sense of teamwork. Additionally, they should be adept at thriving in a fast-paced environment, delivering Level 3 technology support and administration for the IT Infrastructure Network and Security Operations Team. The role will encompass technology support for both network and security technologies, ensuring robust and seamless operations.

Responsibilities

• 4-6 years hands-on experience in implementing advanced security solutions using Palo Alto Firewalls in large enterprise networks.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting across firewalls, network devices, and user endpoints.
• Hands-on experience managing security on public cloud platforms, preferably MS Azure.
• Lead the deployment, configuration, and integration of Palo Alto Firewalls in diverse network environments.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network and security architecture and configurations.
• Support Level 2 Help Desk tickets for Network and Security operations.
• Install and configure Check Point firewalls, set up VPNs, and perform routine upgrades.
• Monitor security devices and applications for performance issues and troubleshoot as needed.
• Working knowledge of Cisco data center switches (Nexus 9K, 7K, 2K), Cisco Catalyst series, routers, DNS, and DHCP management.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of overall hands-on experience, including 4-6 years with Palo Alto & Check Point firewalls.
• Familiarity with Cisco routers and switches.
• Ability to prioritize tasks across multiple teams and technologies.
• Effective project management skills, managing expectations and scope.
• Excellent customer service and support skills.
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to quickly learn new technologies.

• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
• Palo Alto and Cisco certifications are a plus.
• Relevant IT support skills and experience.
