A leading global financial firm is seeking an AVP level candidate to design and develop advanced algo trading applications. You will collaborate closely with traders and quants to enhance the algo execution platform, focusing on stability and performance. Candidates must have proven experience in object-oriented programming, preferably with Java, and a solid understanding of enterprise architecture. This role provides the opportunity to work within a high-performance global team across multiple locations including London and Paris.

Qualifications

• Proven programming experience with an object-oriented language.
• Understanding of computing science fundamentals.
• Solid architectural understanding of enterprise applications.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop Algo trading applications.
• Work directly with Traders and Quants.
• Improve technical capabilities of the platform.
• Drive engineering standards.
• Enhance automated testing and optimize UAT process.
• Serve as advisor or coach to new analysts.
• Troubleshoot performance and scalability issues.
