Overview

Orano Med is a biotechnology company owned by Orano. Our ambition is to develop a new generation of targeted cancer therapies by harnessing the unique properties of lead-212, a rare alpha-emitting radioisotope with highly promising medical potential. We are looking for a Scientist in Biology who will report directly to the R&D Director for Peptide Chemistry.

Responsibilities

• Independently preparing, performing, analyzing, summarizing, and troubleshooting studies using individually prepared documentation.
• Perform day-to-day functions and studies in OranoMed’s discovery laboratory.
• Drive analytical method development and characterization of candidate drug molecules, primarily focused on various binding assays (SPR Triceratops SPR 64 Bruker), ELISA, cell and bead-based assays, etc.
• Independently prioritize studies, plan work sequence, and communicate status and results to other scientists and/or supervisor.
• Writing standard operating procedures and/or operation aides for routine methods and lab equipment.
• Training other lab personnel and provide guidance in their daily work as needed.
• Prepare laboratory reports.
• Other duties as assigned.
