A global energy firm based in Île-de-France is seeking a Sales Manager to lead strategic proposal efforts. The ideal candidate will coordinate teams and manage contract negotiations, contributing to impactful projects in the energy transition. Strong strategic, negotiation, and leadership skills in both English and French are essential. This position offers a hybrid work model and a competitive salary package.

Qualifications

  • 710 years of experience in sales tendering or project management.
  • Experience in Oil & Gas, Energy or Heavy Industry is a strong asset.

Your mission

The Sales Manager leads the preparation and submission of strategic proposals. Responsible for defining bid strategies coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring alignment with Tractebels commercial objectives the Sales Manager plays a central role in securing new business.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation of EOIs PQs and proposals from strategy definition to submission.
  • Define proposal strategy success factors and pricing approach.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders (technical experts partners subcontractors).
  • Ensure consistency and quality across technical and commercial aspects of the bid.
  • Approve bid hours and monitor actual costs.
  • Lead contract negotiations and finalization with the support from Legal and Technical teams.
  • Ensure compliance with Tractebels policies ethics and quality management systems.
  • Manage CRM and proposal tools (Salesforce Comref Planisware).
  • Oversee handover from sales to project execution
  • Organise REX on proposal phase with the technical bid manager and client when possible
Your Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Engineering Business or related 710 years of experience in sales tendering or project management.
Who You Are
  • Strong strategic thinking negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Fluent in English and French; additional languages are an asset.
  • High level of autonomy integrity and commercial acumen.
  • Strong time management skills with a proven capacity to deliver high-quality results within constrained timelines.
P ref erence
  • Experience in Oil&Gas Energy or Heavy Industry would be a strong asset.
  • Proven track record in leading complex proposals and managing teams.
