Job

As Sales Manager for France, you will be responsible for driving business growth in the French market and any additional territories agreed upon with the General Manager. Your mission is to develop and execute effective sales strategies, expand the portfolio of active clients, and consistently achieve the sales objectives set by management. This role requires strong business development skills, relationship-building expertise, and a results-driven mindset to ensure sustainable revenue growth and market presence.

Key Responsibilities
RFP Management (70% of the role)
  • Identify relevant RFPs, and analyse
  • Coordinate the full RFP process: data collection, pricing, documentation, compliance checks, and internal validations.
  • Draft, structure, and submit high-quality proposals within deadlines.
  • Follow up systematically with clients after submission to clarify requirements and improve win rates.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate, competitive, and feasible offers.
  • Prepare and follow up the contracting process
Business Development and account Management
  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for assigned markets
  • Identify and prospect new partners
  • Manage and retain existing partners.
  • Monitor account performance and implement corrective action plans when needed.
  • Build and maintain a structured sales pipeline: responsible for group sales revenue and profit targets in line with budget for the market, and ensuring the sales team is providing quality customer service.
  • Plan and implement sales delivery targets and KPI’s.
Analysis & Reporting
  • Track key performance indicators (revenue, volume, margins, market performance).
  • Provide monthly sales reports, including results, forecasts and market insights.
  • Analyze competitors and make recommendations to refine the commercial strategy.
Marketing & Promotion
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional campaigns and creation of sales tools (brochures, presentations, sales decks).
  • Represent the company at trade shows, workshops, roadshows and professional events.
  • Organize fam trips and educational tours for the clients
Internal Coordination
  • Keep close communication with our local offices and make sure business is operated smoothly
  • Investigate for new products or activities to be promoted on the market, in coordination with our destination offices
  • Follow up payments in order to avoid overdues and outstandings
Qualifications
  • Commercially minded and Sales driven
  • Deep understanding of the travel industry and market requirements
  • Degree qualified in Tourism and Travel Business
  • Entrepreneurial and creative approach
  • Project management
  • Good technical skills in Microsoft Office – Word/Excel/PDF
  • Fluent English and French language skills
  • Very well organized, able to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work under a lot of pressure from the clients
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with our destination offices
  • Team spirit, ability to work within a group
  • Experience in Inbound Travel in Europe experience is an asset
