In the context of Digital Train Program, the Requirement Management Engineer (RME):
§ Is the guardian of the “As Sold” Baseline, manages the configuration items from the “As Required” & “As Specified” baselines regarding Requirements Management
§ Ensures that the management of management of the program is performed as per the global Requirements Management (RM) process and methodology, thus the delivered product meets the scope of work of the program
§ Verifies the data quality & consistency in the RM database
§ Manages the requirements changes & configuration
§ Provide the necessary support and trainings to the team regarding RM process, methodology and tools (DOORS) to perform activities requested by the process
§ Monitors and reports on the status of RM activities, manages the RM database and helps engineers and other scope owners in their RM activities
§ Contributes to RME (Requirement Management Engineer) Network
§ In the context of Digital Train Program ,
o acts as the deputy to the Program Manager, supporting the application of the RM process on a day-to-day basis.
o acts as the deputy to the Program Manager, supporting the application of the Configuration Baseline Missions & Trade Off processes on a day-to-day basis.
o maintains traceability from source requirements to supplier requirements (TPS) and the layers in between.
