Your Role:

As a Backend Developer at Usual, you will play a critical role in building and enhancing our decentralized application (dApp) and integrating it seamlessly with our smart contracts. You will work closely with the entire tech team, contributing to back-end development.

Key Responsibilities:

Development and Integration:

  • Develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable back-end components of our dApp.
  • Utilize TypeScript to build intuitive and responsive user interfaces.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with smart contract developers to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • Collaborate with QA engineers to implement and maintain high standards of code quality and application performance.
  • Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and contribute to a collaborative and innovative team culture.

Innovation and Improvement:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in web3 and DeFi.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions to enhance the user experience.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.JS.
  • Solid understanding of The Graph for indexing and querying blockchain data.
  • Knowledge of Solidity and Foundry for smart contract development and testing.
  • Experience with Google Cloud services.

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Backend Developer in a web3 or DeFi project.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and deliver high-quality code on time.
  • Previous experience working in a collaborative team environment.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
