A leading beauty company is seeking a Vice President for Travel Retail West to drive the commercial strategy for the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of sales experience, especially in the beauty sector, and possess strong leadership skills to manage a commercial team effectively. This role is crucial in developing relationships with key accounts and ensuring profitable operations in the travel retail market.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Sales.
  • Experience of an International scope and multi-Brands portfolio, ideally in the Beauty sector.
  • Experience dealing with Travel Retail operators and agents within EMEA Region.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Within our Travel Retail Business unit, the Regional Sales Director defines and executes the commercial strategy plan for the EMEA area in order to develop the sales while promoting the image and improving the profitability of the brands over the long term according to the brands strategies and the operational marketing plan.

  • Proposes and submits for validation to Travel Retail West VP the sales strategy for each brand in their area in compliance with marketing plans and the Group’s sales strategy
  • Able to translate global brand objectives into region-specific commercial strategies and go-to-market plans
  • Manages the commercial team on the field and provides direct support to the TR West VP
  • Defines and implements commercial policies and distribution strategy to optimize covering and boost sales
  • Ensures day-to-day customer relation management with key accounts in order to develop the business
  • Negotiates commercial terms in order to secure commercial gross sales objectives and secure advantageous terms and visibility
  • Oversees the operational implementation of commercial agreements and marketing initiatives
  • Is accountable for business results and budget compliance, analyses discrepancies and proposes corrective measures for the area.
  • Works cross-functionally with Finance, Supply Chain and Marketing to optimize demand planning, inventory management, and marketing plans with the clients.
  • Leads the annual strategic planning and sales forecasting process across the EMEA TR clients
  • Responsible to deliver both the Gross/Net Sales targets and manage the necessary expenses to deliver Profitability targets within TR EMEA region.
  • Monitors market’s competitors in order to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Identifies white-space opportunities and defines market entry strategies for emerging markets or new channels within Travel Retail.
  • Provides monthly reporting to the TR West VP
  • Attracts, develops and manages talents in order to create an environment where all employees are empowered and engaged and to ensure optimal quantitative and qualitative staffing
PROFILE
  • Business degree with minimum 15 years of experience in Sales
  • Experience of an International scope and multi-Brands portfolio, ideally in the Beauty sector
  • Experience in dealing with Travel Retail operators and agents within EMEA Region
  • Financial and business acumen
  • Abilify to balance strategic vision with hands-on operational execution.
  • Strong leadership with focus on Engaging, executing and Envisioning.
