About the Role:

Our client is seeking a dynamic Production Manager to join their management team. This is a key leadership role focused on ensuring efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement within a busy operational environment.

Position Summary

The Production Manager will report to the Plant Manager and will be responsible for leading production teams, managing day-to-day activities, and driving operational performance. The role requires a balance of people leadership, problem-solving, and process optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead with a safety-first mindset, ensuring health and safety standards are met.
• Oversee and coordinate daily operations to achieve productivity and efficiency targets.
• Manage team leaders and staff to ensure smooth workflows with minimal disruption.
• Resolve operational and quality issues quickly to minimise downtime and cost.
• Monitor and analyse performance data, implementing improvements where needed.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the production team to achieve high levels of engagement and performance.

Skills and Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience leading operational teams in a production or similar environment.
• Strong background in process improvement, LEAN, performance management.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and engage teams.
• Determination and persistence in achieving goals.
