As a Product Manager Data, you will take ownership of a key data perimeter that shapes the entire student journey, from academic lifecycle to employability. You will drive the vision and roadmap, turning strategic needs into robust, high-value data products. Working closely with academic, technical, and compliance teams, you will ensure data reliability, consistency, and adoption across multiple stakeholders. Your role is central to improving learning outcomes, operational performance, and the student experience. You will evolve in a context of full information system transformation, where data is a strategic driver for innovation and impact.
Accountabilities
- Define the data product vision and lead the associated roadmap for the School domain.
- Gather, analyse, and prioritize business needs related to student, academic, and program data.
- Facilitate workshops to structure use cases and clarify requirements.
- Write functional specifications, including user stories and detailed requirements, and support Data teams during delivery.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with internal standards.
- Track product adoption, performance indicators, and overall reliability of delivered data assets.
- Collaborate with academic teams, engineering, compliance, and performance stakeholders to ensure alignment and operational impact.
- Contribute to high-impact projects such as SI revamp, student and program data quality, attendance and progression indicators, reference data management, and AI-driven personalization use cases.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Manager Data or in a similar hybrid role at the intersection of business, data, and technology.
- Proven background working within complex or multi-entity environments.
- Knowledge of the education sector or regulatory requirements is appreciated.
- Strong understanding of data modelling, data quality, and data governance principles.
- Ability to challenge technical solutions involving cloud architectures, data pipelines, and APIs.
- Fluency in French and English within an international context.
- Strong communication skills, stakeholder management, and influential leadership.
- Capacity to bring clarity to complex topics, extract value from data, and create alignment around a shared product vision.
