A luxury fashion house in Paris is seeking a Print and Textile Design Assistant to support the design team. The role involves assisting in daily operations, translating research into designs, and preparing technical packs. The ideal candidate has a degree in print design, experience from high-end brands, and proficiency in Adobe software. Qualifications

• A minimum of 6 months’ experience in print design preferably from high-end fashion brands.
• Complete fluency in Adobe programs; primarily Photoshop and Illustrator.

• Knowledge of textile design processes and experimentation.

As Print and Textile Design Assistant at our Paris you will play a creative and supporting role, reporting to the Senior Print Designer.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As Print and Textile Design Assistant, you will report to Head of Print and Textile Design. You will play a vital role by:

• Assisting in daily operations of the print & textile design team
• Translating research and design input into print proposals through analog and digital processes
• Providing support in creating artworks- and colorways including mock-ups and photoshops
• Modifying and finalizing artworks and create print repeats and allovers
• Preparing technical packs (artwork specification, scale, color, etc.) to launch at suppliers
• Acting as a liaison across design departments, by gathering and sharing relevant information
• Maintaining and updating collection boards and assist in meeting preparations
