Description du poste

Bhogaraju group at EMBL Grenoble has several postdoc positions open to conduct fundamental and translational research into a class of understudied human ubiquitin ligases. Our group explores Melanoma-associated antigen (MAGE)-RING ubiquitin ligases (MRLs) some of which are highly oncogenic. We are looking for passionate and ambitious colleagues who are willing to make significant fundamental discoveries related to the medically relevant MRLs and their ubiquitination substrates.

Our recent work includes the discovery of a conserved ligase-binding cleft in MAGE proteins showcasing (Griffith-Jones et al. 2024). We also developed a proteomics-based ubiquitin ligase-substrate mapping method known as Ub-POD which is being widely used in the field (Mukhopadhyay et al. 2024). Bhogaraju group uses Proteomics cell biology and structural biology methods to study human ubiquitin ligases especially MRLs. See further information at lab webpage profile
