Description du poste
Overview

A busy and welcoming family based in Paris 16ème, with regular travel abroad, is seeking a warm, flexible, and experienced rota nanny to support the care of their nearly 4-year-old daughter. The family has a history of placing nannies and comes highly recommended. Their current 2nd nanny is relocating to London permanently. The family already employs a Head Nanny, who has been with them for almost 4 years and works on a 10 days on / 4 days off schedule. This new rota nanny will cover two extended weekends (4 days each) per month, providing additional support and ensuring continuity of care. The role is flexible and can adapt to the right candidate’s availability. The household is fully staffed and highly collaborative; the successful candidate must be a team player who respects others’ roles and works seamlessly alongside staff members. The little girl is happy, curious, and in a well-established routine. She attends school from 8:45 to 16:45 (comes home for lunch) and enjoys engaging activities that encourage her development.

Duties
  • Providing fun, stimulating, and age-appropriate activities
  • Supporting her routine, including mealtimes, nap times, and school runs (when required)
  • Preparing healthy meals for the child (though a chef is employed)
  • Light nursery duties relating to the child (laundry, tidying playroom/bedroom, etc.)
  • Travelling with the family as needed
  • Older siblings (16 years old) live at home but require no direct care, only occasional supervision when the parents are away
  • PA work related to kids when the girl is at school

The family values someone who is discreet, proactive, adaptable, and genuinely enjoys working with young children.
