Description

Upway is hiring an Operations Manager for its Operations team in France. The team’s goal is to create the largest and highest-quality e-bike offering for Upway shoppers by sourcing, refurbishing, and delivering e-bikes to customers seamlessly.

The Operations Manager will oversee key parts of the operational process, manage warehouse teams, develop processes for optimization, analyze data to identify gaps, and collaborate with other departments to ensure excellent customer experiences.

What you will do

• Lead and scale a team of warehouse operators
• Design, build, and oversee parts of the operational flow
• Make customer-centric decisions
• Ensure daily warehouse output meets standards
• Manage relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and partners
• Develop and improve processes to optimize customer experience and efficiency
• Implement tools and dashboards to monitor operations
• Collaborate with other teams to support growth and expansion
• Lead by example

What you will need

• Strong academic background in engineering, finance, logistics, business, or similar
• 1-3 years of experience in Operations, Finance, or related fields
• Fluency in French and proficiency in English
• Strong communication and leadership skills for managing warehouse teams
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze data and identify root causes
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Attention to detail and focus on operational excellence
• Willingness to take full accountability for complex operations
• Adaptability to change and dynamic environments
