Position Description

The Office Assistant Intern will work with the Office of the Center for the Common Good on various projects benefiting the community, including:

  • Asset management:
    • Keeping storage areas organized
    • Maintaining a database of reusable items
  • Overseeing year-end cleanup:
    • Maintaining collection bins
    • Working with volunteers for sorting and itemizing
  • Centralizing donation networks with Nova Nook, Wildcat Wardrobe, and Wildcat Thrift
  • Supporting social media efforts

The work benefits community partners by providing materials that would otherwise go to waste.

Requirements & Additional Information
  • Preference for candidates with a valid driver’s license and willingness to become university van certified.
  • Physical demands include lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs of donated materials.
  • Wage Rate: $13/hour
