Position Description
The Office Assistant Intern will work with the Office of the Center for the Common Good on various projects benefiting the community, including:
- Asset management:
- Keeping storage areas organized
- Maintaining a database of reusable items
- Overseeing year-end cleanup:
- Maintaining collection bins
- Working with volunteers for sorting and itemizing
- Centralizing donation networks with Nova Nook, Wildcat Wardrobe, and Wildcat Thrift
- Supporting social media efforts
The work benefits community partners by providing materials that would otherwise go to waste.
Requirements & Additional Information
- Preference for candidates with a valid driver’s license and willingness to become university van certified.
- Physical demands include lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs of donated materials.
- Wage Rate: $13/hour
