The Mobility team supports Remote’s worldwide talent community by ensuring smooth border-crossing through immigration and relocation assistance, adhering to local laws. They help Remote and its clients secure top global talent while focusing on risk management and clear stakeholder communication. The team improves compliance processes for remote work and business travel and collaborates with vendors to guarantee seamless relocations. What you bring
  • Proven experience in immigration compliance, global mobility, or related roles, with a focus on immigration
  • Comprehensive understanding of immigration procedures and compliance processes
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Composure and efficiency under pressure, maintaining high-performance standards during high workload periods
  • Experience in technology or rapidly growing companies is desirable
  • Flexible, adaptable team player who can respond to evolving priorities
  • Customer-facing experience with strong communication skills and ability to engage diverse client bases
  • Interest in expanding knowledge of global immigration laws and developing expertise
  • Experience working remotely or asynchronously with minimal supervision is an advantage
  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal and strategic guidance to clients on immigration compliance
  • Monitor and manage Remote products and services for immigration compliance
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Identify and implement in-house immigration services to increase revenue, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
    • Analyze, prepare, and submit visa/work permit applications
  • Maintain up-to-date immigration law knowledge and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance
  • Handle escalations, determine when senior review is required, and guide stakeholders to timely resolutions
  • Provide guidance on travel needs, counsel on immigration processes, and act as a point of contact for business travel and sponsorship cases
  • Manage case statuses using case management and billing systems
  • Apply immigration knowledge to provide solution-based responses for complex client cases
  • Be a team player who can work autonomously and own day-to-day tasks
  • Proactively improve processes through automation and documentation
