Joining the Bureau de Recherches Géologiques et Minières (BRGM) means becoming part of the leading public establishment in the Earth sciences, bringing together 1,000 expert and enthusiastic people in 29 entities located in mainland France and overseas.

Under the supervision of a Project Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
BRGM is recruiting a Mineral Resources Economics Analyst Engineer for its Directorate for Mineral Resources (DRM) and its Mineral Intelligence Unit (DRM/IMI).
In a context of increasing demand related to mineral resources and the associated economic, environmental and societal challenges, you will contribute specifically to a project dedicated to these issues: the French Observatory of Mineral Resources for Industrial Value Chains (OFREMI).
You will be involved in the collection of information supporting monitoring and analysis of technical, economic, political and regulatory data, with the aim of producing syntheses and recommendations for governmental authorities, industrial stakeholders and partner research institutes.
This position is offered under a project-based permanent contract (CDI de projet). Your contribution will focus in particular on economic intelligence and monitoring activities, building an integrated, international overview of mineral value chains aligned with the needs of French industrial sectors, producing analyses and newsletters for stakeholders (governmental bodies, companies, research partners).
You will also contribute to the structuring, storage and dissemination of results for clients through BRGM’s secure dissemination platform, the OFREMI Information System.
