Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in the hospitality industry.
• Must be authorized to work in the EU.

NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB

• Maintain the overall appearance of the building; replace broken lamps, room equipment and accessories, carry out general repairs, and uphold high standards of décor and painting throughout the property.
• Perform preventive maintenance across all areas of the building, including front and back of house and guest rooms, both indoors and outdoors.
• Ensure that all tasks related to guest comfort, satisfaction, or first impressions of the hotel are prioritized.
• Keep all safety and inventory records up to date.
• Take responsibility for all on‑site equipment, ensuring it is maintained and ready for use at all times.
• Have a thorough knowledge of all applicable local laws and regulations, particularly regarding health and safety, building codes, and fire safety, and ensure compliance.
• Ensure that our social spaces reflect Generator’s brand and culture.
• Maintain good working relationships with colleagues to create a team that works well together and collaborates effectively with other departments.

• Technical knowledge of electricity, plumbing, and décor.
• At least 2 years’ experience, ideally in the hospitality industry, in a similar role.
