A leading ad technology firm in Paris seeks a Backend Engineer to develop high-performance backend services for real-time bidding and performance optimisation. This role is suited for those with 2+ years of experience in backend engineering, preferably using languages like Go or Python. Candidates should have a strong interest in real-time systems and the ability to work in an in-office setting initially for effective mentoring. Competitive compensation and remote options are offered.
The Vibe team is a passionate, competitive bunch focused on one thing: allowing any marketer, any brand, of any size, to advertise on TV in under 5 minutes.

You will join our Performance team, a cross‑functional group working at the intersection of backend engineering, data science and machine learning.
This team builds and operates the systems that decide how budgets are spent, how bids are placed, and how performance is optimised in real time. These components are central to Vibe’s performance and growth.
You will work closely with Vincent Lagabbe, Backend Engineer, who brings deep experience in large-scale, performance‑critical systems from companies such as Criteo and Alan.
The team values strong engineering fundamentals, thoughtful system design and continuous learning, with a modern, pragmatic and state‑of‑the‑art approach to technology.
This position would be in an in‑office first setting, at least for the first year, for proper mentoring purposes.
You will contribute to the development of high‑performance backend services powering our real‑time bidding and performance optimisation systems.
This role is designed for a junior to mid‑level backend engineer who already has solid production experience and wants to level up quickly by working on complex systems, alongside experienced engineers.
