EU Innovation Director – Your Future Position

As Innovation Director for EU Consumer Products Fragrances you will be the go-to innovation contact in the region. You will collaborate with the Category Directors to execute the development strategy. You will infuse an Innovation mindset and ensure Fragrance is at the heart of our Innovation activities. You will translate macro trends technologies and consumer needs into olfactive business opportunities. You will also drive and facilitate the cross-category initiatives and the Marketing tools through Digital solutions.

In this exciting role reporting to the EU Creative Center Director and with the support of the Innovation Manager you will :

Act as the interface and facilitator between the Sales Creation & Development teams and connect with key stakeholders to deliver on the below :

• Ensure strategic alignment between all stakeholders at a regional level
• Implement a clear innovation process to build a portfolio of customer and consumer-relevant innovative olfactive solutions in partnership with the Categories S&T and Technical Support
• Coordinate cross-category Innovation projects
• Infuse an innovation mindset in the organization through sharing sessions workshops and trainings
• Own Marketing excellence (Trends & Marketing tools) and animate the EU Marketing teams network contributing to find relevant solutions to empower and equip our teams
• Lead the Design Studios and the Consumer Panel to facilitate the above executions;
• Ensure cross-regional connectivity represent EU and actively contribute to the Global Innovation & Marketing priorities and networks
• Support & implement the global CP communication strategy and contribute from a regional CP perspective
• Facilitate the implementation of Digital solutions for Development teams or for Customers working closely with the Digital teams

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree with 15 years cross-functional and cross-cultural experience in the fragrance industry
• Extended global knowledge of the fragrance market and experience in different categories
• Ability to facilitate create promote
• Ability to build networks to achieve results through influence to work effectively in a matrix environment
• Ability to think strategically and to translate strategies into tangible deliverables
• An appetite for digital solutions
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Project management skills and focus on implementation
• Fluency in English French recommended
