What You Can Expect

This position is responsible for providing efficient and effective IT support for the Manufacturing Site in Montpellier, France, and internal (international) office users. The role involves providing professional solutions for complex IT problems and questions, working independently as part of various IT-related projects. In addition to first and second level support, the focus is also on more complex support cases (problem management, collaboration with 3rd Level Team) and participating in project work. Furthermore, this position is responsible for maintaining and ensuring adherence to global IT standards and processes.

How You'll Create Impact

  • Provide fast and efficient technical support for complex IT problems and questions from users and manufacturing equipment.
  • Offer first and second level IT support in local language and English.
  • Prioritize incidents, project work, and support tasks effectively.
  • Identify patterns in incidents to resolve underlying structural issues.
  • Build and maintain relationships with users and other experts.
  • Track the status of issues using helpdesk tools.
  • Create and maintain local procedures related to EUC IT activities on site.
  • Manage local IT equipment and mobile phones.

What Makes You Stand Out

Special expertise

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with User Management Tools.
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows client OS (e.g., XP to Win11).
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Azure Services, DNS/DHCP.
  • Preferred experience with Service-Now Ticketing System.
  • Basic knowledge of ERP Systems (Navision), Microsoft AutoPilot, SCCM, or other software distribution tools.
  • Ability to maintain contacts with international end-users.
  • Project management skills for small projects and participation in medium-sized national and international projects.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, initiative, and customer orientation.
  • Ability to perform well under high workload and time pressure.

Your Background

Education

  • Commercial or technical education with profound knowledge of computer systems and applications.
  • Leaving certificate and advanced education in computer science or related fields, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred certifications include A+, Network+, MCP, MCSA, and MCSE.

Professional experience

  • Extensive experience as an IT Support Analyst (2-3 years).
