Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and driven IT Infrastructure Project Manager to join our team and play a critical role in leading and coordinating complex IT infrastructure projects while ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timelines. In this position, you’ll work closely with stakeholders, technical experts, and project owners, contributing directly to the efficient execution of our project portfolio and the improvement of operational processes. Who You Are:

You are an experienced IT professional with a strong background in managing IT infrastructure projects. You are proactive, detail-oriented, and thrive in dynamic environments. With excellent communication skills, you can manage multiple projects, coordinate teams, and deliver results. You’re passionate about IT and always looking for ways to improve processes and drive efficiency.

What You'll Do:

• Manage and direct IT infrastructure projects (servers, networks, storage, backup, virtualization, etc.) with a focus on risk management, reporting, and monitoring.
• Coordinate the efforts of project owners and managers, ensuring effective collaboration and successful project delivery.
• Develop and implement project reporting tools, as well as set up KPIs to track project progress.
• Qualify customer requirements and translate business needs into project deliverables, ensuring alignment with non-functional requirements.
• Monitor and manage multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously while maintaining budget oversight and reporting.
• Provide regular updates to directors on project status, risks, and potential overruns, ensuring clear communication across all levels.
• Identify organizational weaknesses, propose solutions, and oversee the implementation and application of improvements.
• Work with remote teams and provide guidance on technical requirements and challenges.

What You’ll Need:

• At least 5 years of experience in managing IT infrastructure and operations projects.
• Proven track record in managing project budgets, reporting, and ensuring on-time delivery.
• Strong proficiency in project management methodologies, with ITIL, Prince II, or PMP certification preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, storage, backup, virtualization, and cloud environments.
• Strong communication skills, especially for reporting and managing project risks and overruns.
• Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams with minimal supervision.
• Fluency in both English and French is required.
• Experience working with remote teams and an understanding of international project management dynamics.
• Ability to understand business needs and translate them into actionable project plans.
• A high degree of autonomy, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional experience abroad would be a plus.
