Overview
As a business partner, the ISEE Manager's mission is to develop, legitimize and guarantee the implementation and evolution of the company's environmental and energy management system, taking into account manufacturing constraints, Group policy and Sustainability targets, economic challenges and legislation. Reporting to the Region Industrial Manager and member of the management committee, he/she proposes and implements methodologies and strategies in line with global strategy set by Operations Sustainability Environment & Energy Department (DOSEE).
1/ Compliance
- Monitors and analyses the regulatory framework evolution of the context in which the plant operates, managing institutional relationship and protecting Corporate interests and reputation at local, regional, national level directly or by involving of the competent departments (such as CC&IA)
- Provides appropriate support to the accountable site Functions /Industrial Manager in order to ensure the overall sitecompliance with reference to Sustainability, Environmental & Energy topics
2/ Environmental and Energy Management System (EEMS)
- Ensures ISO Systems 14001 and 50001 are maintained as part of the Group ISO certification, managing internal and external audits, either directly or through collaborators
- Ensures proper cascading, knowledge and understanding of the Operations Environment & Energy Policy in order to have full alignment on the concept and targets defined centrally
- Monitors and optimize the EEMS as part of a continuous improvement process, ensuring the system's compliance with operating permits
- Cooperates with the interested plant teams to guarantee that environment&energy sustainability are properly taken into account in all the investments
- Ensures assessments of Energy usage, Water cycle, Residuals, Air Emission in order to identify area of improvement and related projects to support Sustainability targets achievements in line with DOSEE Guidelines
- Ensures coordination with DOSEE team for the technical management of the Environmental and Energy Projects
- Ensures Sustainability Target setting, KPIs monitoring, and trend analysis for the plant/ugp’s
3/ Industrial Sustainability Management
- Ensures Masterplandevelopment, monitoring and reporting in the plant and to central
- Defines the budget consumption modeling for utilities (energy and water) in cooperation with controlling/maintenance on site
- Ensures timely and reliable monthly data collection of Sustainability aspects in line with DOSEE requirements by means of appropriate equipment and IT tools
- Cooperates with DOSEE in the preparation of the environmental Ferrero Corporate Social Responsibility or any other external disclosure required by the Group (i.e. CDP, CSR-D)
- Ensures a proactive presence at the Professional family meetings, as point of collection/ hub for core know-how, internal/ external best practices sharing and problem-solving scenarios from a continuous improvement perspective
- Ensures proactive partecipation to professional family working group in order to support sustainability development and cross-fertilization
4/ Management
- Manage the organization's human resources (recruitment, skills development, work organization, appraisals, etc.)
- Propose and manage the unit's budget with the aim of controlling costs and optimizing allocated resources
5/ Safety, quality, food safety
- Promote the various policies related to the field
- Implement all necessary actions to guarantee safety, quality and food safety
- Ensure compliance with our various policies
- at least 5 years of previous experience in the relevant field (working in a Global/Multi-national Company, preferably in the FMCG sector is an asset)
- certified internal auditor ISO 14001 and ideally ISO 50001
- Knowledge of environmental and energy techniques and standards
- Ability to analyze and summarize
- Fluent French and English
