A global tire manufacturer in Île-de-France seeks an HR Partner for Retail EMEA. This role focuses on driving HR strategies aligned with business goals and enhancing employee engagement across diverse markets. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of HR experience, deep knowledge of French Labor Law, and strong coaching skills. Fluency in French and English, coupled with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, is essential for success in this international role.

Why this role matters

As HR Partner Retail EMEA (Europe South), you will play a critical role in shaping the people agenda for our Retail organization. You will partner closely with business leaders to drive performance, engagement, and cultural alignment across diverse markets (France, Spain, Portugal and Italy), ensuring our people strategies enable growth, compliance, and a strong employee experience in a fast‑paced, multinational environment.

What will you do
  • Partner with Retail stakeholders to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals and local labor regulations
  • Act as a cultural ambassador, embedding the company’s values, vision, and inclusive culture across the Retail organization
  • Drive core HR activities including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and learning & development
  • Drive change management initiatives, supporting leaders and teams through organizational transformation
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Expertise and Shared Services to deliver efficient, end-to-end HR solutions
  • Use HR data and insights to identify trends, support outcomes, and continuously improve workforce effectiveness
What will you bring
  • University degree in Human Resources, Management, Labor Law, or a related field
  • 7+ years of HR Generalist or HR Business Partner experience in an international and matrixed organization (in manufacturing or retail environment, preferably in automotive or similar sector)
  • Extensive knowledge of French Labor Law, including work councils and policies
  • Proven impact in staffing, talent management, compensation, change management and people interventions
  • Strong coaching skills with experience in guiding leaders and teams through complex situations
  • Analytical skills and very good knowledge of MS Office (including MS Excel)
  • Business acumen with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines
  • Fluency in English and French; additional European language is an asset
