Mission

As Head of Sales at Rift, you will be responsible for structuring and executing our commercial strategy to launch and scale our sales in France and across Europe. You will engage with ministries, armed forces, local authorities, and critical infrastructure operators.

Your objective: generate qualified opportunities, close strategic deals, and lay the foundation for a world-class Sales team.

You’ll play a key role in Rift’s growth, embodying our vision in front of public and institutional decision-makers.

What you’ll do
  • Sales Strategy – Build a clear roadmap to turn our early successes into repeatable, scalable growth.
  • Complex Sales – Lead institutional deals involving public tenders, pilot phases, and multiple stakeholders.
  • Government & Key Account Relations – Leverage your network across defense, security, and public-sector ecosystems to position Rift as a strategic player.
  • Team Building – Establish the foundations of a high-performing Sales team and progressively recruit top talent.
  • Product Collaboration – Act as the voice of the field, working closely with the technical team and CEO to shape our offering.
  • Deal Closing – You’re a closer: you know how to turn intent into signed contracts.
What we’re looking for
  • Senior experience (~8+ years) in B2G or large public-sector sales, ideally in defense, security, or infrastructure.
  • Proven track record closing complex deals with government, infrastructure operators, or large municipalities.
  • You have a strong grasp of public procurement processes (tenders, RFPs, calls for interest, etc.).
  • Comfortable navigating institutional networks, initiating relationships at the highest level, and turning them into solid partnerships.
  • You love to build: structuring a CRM, prioritizing a pipeline, evolving an offer.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset: autonomous, determined, fast execution.
  • Fluent in French and English.

Who we are

Rift is building the first European long-range drone network to protect borders, critical infrastructure, and territories. Our mission is to make real-time aerial intelligence accessible, anywhere, anytime.

We design, build, and operate a fleet of fixed-wing drones deployed through autonomous ground stations. Each drone covers hundreds of kilometers per flight and is fully remote-controlled from our operations center, delivering live intelligence to security forces in crisis situations.
