Payroll & Time Management Manager or Payroll Team Expert

Responsibilities

Manage, oversee, and ensure the reliability of the monthly payroll within their scope of responsibility.

Scope of Activities
  • Collect, verify, and update all parts of the individual employee file in the payroll system.
  • Process payroll data (input and checking) from personal and collective data collected in accordance with all legal and regulatory provisions, including absences and variable components of pay.
  • Create and produce pay slips, account balances, and departure-related documents within the required timeframe.
  • Ensure that month-end processes are completed on time.
  • Make all declarations related to new hires, such as pre-hiring declarations and membership of mutual insurance schemes.
  • Respond to site and HR requests, and provide employees with pay-related information upon request.
  • Update all aspects of payroll management, including HR software, personnel records, and files.
  • Edit requests in the payroll software.
  • Act as the interface with external organizations like CPAM, welfare providers, and Pôle Emploi.
  • Stay updated with, and apply, all employee relations regulations.
  • Alert HR managers of any inconsistencies in payroll records.
Additional Duties for Level 2 Payroll Managers
  • Carry out centralized payroll tasks for the French group, including checking provisions, payroll checks, calculation and payment of the CE subsidy, ordering meal vouchers, and handling URSSAF contributions.

The activities should be adapted for employees on work/study contracts to remain consistent with their training.
