Description du poste
Job Description

Do you feel involved with safety of flight of the a/c? Are you interested in working directly with Authorities and customer? Are you looking to new challenges in a really dynamic and engaged team?

This job is for you!

An exciting job opportunity for a Certification and Qualification Engineer (CQE) for H160M HIL is opened within Airbus Helicopters in Marignane. In this position, you will integrate the Initial Airworthiness Department of Airbus Helicopters in the amazing H160 CQE team.

The mission of the Certification Engineer is mainly to lead the compliance demonstration to the applicable airworthiness requirements (CS29) for each new design / new type. It is also to lead the activities to demonstrate the safe flight capability of the helicopters when performing certification flight tests. This results in a challenging transverse position, with many interfaces internally to Airbus Helicopters, but also with Aviation Authorities (EASA and DGA). This is leading to have a good overview on Airbus Helicopters products and organization.

Each project involves various contributors (Chief Engineering, System Design Responsible, experts, customer support, prototype shop, Final Assembly Line, flight tests pilots & engineers, ...). For that purpose, your office will be directly located on the H160 plateau within a dynamic team next to the helicopter manufacturing line to allow you quick and regular interactions with key stakeholders.

As H160 CQE, you will have the opportunity to work on the most recent product of Airbus Helicopters range and be introduced to the most recent technologies. The main technical fields you will be in charge of will be of inboard and/or outboard optional systems. Furthermore, the HIL contract will give you the opportunity to deal with both DGA and EASA authorities, as a new model (derivated from H160) will be certified by both of them. Also, specific contractual requirements will allow you to be responsible of the Qualification phase and interface with DGA as customer.

For each new design, you will have to understand all the aspects of each project (technical content, configuration) in order to be able to establish the related certification program (CP). This consists in the identification of all CS29 affected requirements, and proposed Means of Compliance. As CQE you have the full responsibility to establish the certification strategy. It is then reviewed and harmonized with all relevant Certification Verification Engineers until the CP is agreed. For design changes classified Minor according to Part 21, you will then lead the compliance demonstration until approval of the change under DOA. When it is classified major, as CQE you will be the main interface towards Aviation Authority (EASA or DGA) to get the change approval. As CQE for H160M you will also take responsibilities in the compliance demonstration to performance requirements (Qualification phase) and interface with the DGA authority.
