Circostrada: International Projects Officer Job (France)

ARTCENA, the French National Centre for Circus, Outdoor and Theatre Arts, is recruiting an International Projects Officer to join its team in Paris. The position is dedicated to the Circostrada network, which ARTCENA has coordinated since 2003. Circostrada brings together over 170 member organisations from more than 45 countries to strengthen and structure the contemporary circus and outdoor arts sectors in Europe and beyond.

Main responsibilities

• Develop and implement the communication strategy of the Circostrada network
• Lead and design the network’s multimedia editorial projects
• Oversee the redesign and ensure the ongoing management of the Circostrada website
• Contribute to the network’s sector watch and support its advocacy activities
• Support Circostrada’s overall strategy and its collaborative governance model
• Contribute to the development and implementation of ARTCENA’s international projects, particularly in their communication and publishing dimensions

The position starts in early December 2025 under a permanent contract (CDI).

Applicants must hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in cultural project communication and have professional experience in supporting European and/or international activities. Fluency in both French and English is required, with knowledge of additional languages considered an asset.

The role is based in Paris (75011) and involves frequent travel in France and abroad, sometimes at weekends. Remuneration will be based on experience and follows the SYNDEAC collective agreement salary scale, Group 5, supervisory agent.
