Qualifications

• Cloud certification from AWS, Microsoft, or GCP is a plus.
• Coding expertise in Python, Java, or Scala is required.
• Foundational understanding of Apache Spark architecture is preferred.
• Fluent in French.

You will be an essential part of this mission using your technical expertise to demonstrate how our Data Intelligence Platform can help customers turn their complex data challenges into breakthrough business innovations. You will serve as the trusted technical advisor for your customers.

You will work directly with technical and business leaders on their AI and Data strategy and its execution utilising your skills to demonstrate the value of Databricks as a platform. Youll work with a cross-regional collaborative and customer‑focused team in partnership with our various internal departments wider teams and partners.

You will report to the France Emerging Field Engineering Leader. The location for this position is Paris France.

The impact you will

• Form successful relationships with clients throughout your assigned territory providing technical and business value to Databricks customers in collaboration with Account Executives.
• Operate as an expert in AI and data analytics to excite customers about Databricks. You will act as a champion and trusted advisor on multiple architectures designs and implementations and lead to the successful adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
• Scale best practices in your field and support customers by authoring reference architectures how‑tos demo applications and help build the Databricks community in your region by leading workshops seminars and meet‑ups.
• Grow your expertise to the level of a technical and industry expert.

What we look for

• You ideally have 5 years of experience working with clients creating a narrative aligning the agenda based on business priorities and achieving tangible outcomes.
• You are experienced in use case discovery scoping and delivering complex solution architecture designs to multiple audiences requiring an ability to context switch in levels of technical depth.
• You are proficient with Artificial Intelligence AI Agents and Big Data Analytics technologies including hands‑on expertise with sophisticated proofs‑of‑concept and public cloud platform(s).
• Good to have : Cloud certification from AWS Microsoft or GCP or relevant experience.
• Databricks experience / certifications are a bonus.
• Coding expertise in a core programming language (i.e. Python Java Scala). A foundational understanding of Apache Spark architecture is preferable; hands‑on skills will be advantageous for the role.
• Flexible to travel for customer meetings and internal events / trainings (up to 20-30%).
• Fluent in French.
