Job Description: Software Developer - A2i Your Responsibilities

As a proactive and solution-oriented Senior Software Developer, you will be a key contributor to the reliability and performance of our software solutions deployed in dynamic customer environments. You will play a vital role in ensuring the stability and quality of our products through active participation in the development lifecycle, from identifying and resolving issues in existing deployments to building robust automated tests and implementing proactive measures for system resilience. Your efforts will directly impact the end-user experience and the overall success of our software.

Responsibilities

• Debug customer-deployed software, ensuring stability and a low number of bugs.

• Contribute to the development and execution of integration tests for functional and non-functional testing, including continuous load and performance evaluations.

• Develop and enhance automated end-to-end tests.

• Implement chaos engineering principles within the current environment and UI.

• Validate core functionality through smoke testing to ensure a high level of quality before deployment.

• Proactively contribute to the continuous evolution of our development processes and the tools we utilize.

• Develop and maintain our current technology stack, including Spring Boot for backend services and Nuxt/Vue for the frontend, working with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

Your Expertise

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or a related technical field.

• 1 year of hands-on software development experience.

• Proven experience in software development and debugging.

• Experience in developing and maintaining automated tests (knowledge of relevant testing frameworks is beneficial).

• Strong knowledge of OOP principles.

• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and/or Java EE, and REST/GraphQL API development.

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as experience with Nuxt/Vue.

• Good understanding of relational database engines (SQL Server or PostgreSQL).

• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodology and/or SCRUM

• Experience working with code under source control (Git/TFVC/Mercurial/Svn/etc)

• Experience being part of a continuous integration and deployment process

• Experience with AWS or other Cloud providers
