ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM :

The enthusiastic and meticulous iOS Engineer (you!) will help other engineers progress in their professional growth. You will contribute to decisions that have a broad impact on all apps of the company, improving the wedding planning experience for millions of couples worldwide.

You will bring a resolute, detail-oriented spirit and new knowledge to the team to achieve the best possible code and engineering practices.

As a platform engineer, you will work closely with our other squads to mentor and coach them so they grow in their careers, focusing on great people and cross-team practices.

You’ll have the opportunity to work with different apps used by millions of people.

Our apps are written in Swift, using reactive technologies like RxSwift and Combine (all new development is done with Combine). We are adopting SwiftUI, and most of our apps follow MVVM+C architecture. All development and distribution are supported by our CI/CD stack (Fastlane + Bitrise).

You’ll have the opportunity to work on new projects, such as the modularization of our apps.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Making architectural decisions
• Implementing new platform-level features
• Improving and maintaining our mobile CI/CD processes
• Supporting QA and Backend teams
• Communicating effectively with Product and Design teams
• Publishing apps to the App Store
• Tracking and improving our code quality metrics

SUCCESSFUL SENIOR IOS DEVELOPER CANDIDATES HAVE :

• At least 5 years of experience as an iOS Engineer
• Deep knowledge of software engineering principles, design, testing, SOLID principles, and mobile architectures
• Proficiency with CI/CD processes for mobile (using Bitrise and Fastlane)
• Experience with projects maintained by multiple squads
• A positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues
• Mentorship experience is a plus
