The Company

Our customer, Mitsubishi Electric Europe BV (Spain), is a Japanese multinational manufacturer of electrical and architectural materials and photovoltaic panels. They will hire the selected candidate as an internal and permanent employee.

We’re looking for an experienced SAP Security Expert to ensure a secure and compliant SAP environment, align security measures with business needs, and drive access controls, risk assessments and policy implementation while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.

• At least 5 years' experience on SAP security or related IT security roles.
• Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture, including SAP Basis/BTP, SAP HANA, and SAP ECC.
• Experience in managing user roles, profiles, and authorizations in SAP.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, or similar compliance standards.
• Experience with SAP system audits and security assessments.
• Familiarity with identity management tools and SAP security best practices.
• Capacity to manage projects related to the security area.

• # Certifications in any of these areas: SAP Security, SAP BTP (S/4HANA), BW/4HANA, SAC.
• # ITIL, PRINCE2, CAPM or PMI

• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• SAP Security Administration: entails managing and maintaining system security, including user roles, authorizations, and password policies, while ensuring segregation of duties (SoD) compliance.
• Access Control and Authorization Management: designing, implementing, and maintaining secure SAP roles and authorization models tailored to business needs. It also includes conducting access reviews, remediating violations, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Risk Management: assessing and mitigating security risks in SAP systems, conducting audits and vulnerability assessments, and enforcing security policies and standards to maintain system integrity.
• Incident Management: serving as the main contact for SAP-related security incidents, efficiently resolving them, and conducting thorough investigations with proper documentation and follow-up actions.
• Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with IT teams to ensure SAP security measures, provide support during projects, and coordinate authorization services while liaising with auditors and vendors for compliance.
• Compliance and Auditing: ensures SAP systems meet standards like SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, and involves collaborating with auditors for documentation and compliance reviews.
• Training and Awareness: educating SAP users on security best practices and staying current with SAP security trends, tools, and policies.
